I really love this series! This book was one of my favorites so far in the series.
Jenna Darrow is trapped in her depression from the loss of her husband and daughter in a car accident.
The Ancient is being hunted by the Breeds and ends up in Jenna's cabin. He gives her a choice of life or death because he knows his end is near. Jenna chooses life and he leaves her with something extra!
Brock tends to Jenna and absorbs her pain and discomfort while the other Breeds hunts down the Ancient. He feels drawn to her, and she to him. They must sort out their past befor they can move to the future.
