Trace's Psychic by Jory Strong

Homicide detective Trace Dilessio has always considered himself a regular meat and potatoes kind of guy-a red-blooded man who likes his women with big boobs, a nice ass, and legs that don’t stop. Aislinn Windbourne is a whole different type than what he usually goes for. And even though he hates psychics-especially those that get tangled up in police business-Trace can’t seem to fight his obsession for the delicate beauty who makes him feel both primitive and protective.

Years of being shunned in Elf-space because of her half-elf, half-human blood have made Aislinn cautious about opening her heart-until she meets Trace. He beguiles her from the start, and among Elves such a reaction usually means that a couple is destined to form a heartbond. But even as love chases away her loneliness, every time Trace rejects the magic that’s part of who she is, Aislinn fears that this human world might be every bit as painful as the one she grew up in.

This is a great start to the Supernatural Bonds series.   Totally HOT.  Love the world Jory created.  I look forward to reading the next story in this series Storm's Faeries.

In the Heat of the Night Series by Crystal Jordan

Total Eclipse of the Heart

Werewolf law demands that once mated, werewolves know no other lover. Then Lena walks into Rachel’s world, turning it inside out. Her mate may not like it, but once scented, nothing will stop Rachel from claiming what’s hers…

It’s Raining Men

Candy has always known Michael is her mate. The catch? He’s gay. When she meets his lover, she’s sure her werewolf instincts are faulty. Mates with not one, but two gay men? She must have a screw loose. Little does she know both men are about to rock her world.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Anyone who tries to get in Pixie’s way gets the business end of her Fae magic, especially pushy werewolf males. Luckily, Malcon likes her that way. Their uncomplicated fling, for him, is anything but—she’s his mate. He just has to convince her that love won’t clip her wings.

Not too long ago Big Girls Don't Die was a free download from Amazon.  I have the print book and had already read it, but when you get a chance to also have it on your Kindle, how could I resist.  I read it almost right away and I kept eyeing the book on my shelf because after I read the free download I just had to read the complete series!  I love all the books I have by Crystal and I recommend you check them out if you love steamy paranormal!

Beast of Dreams by Cynthia Williams

2834 A.D.

Karrick Logan was only a small cub when his pack cheated death, barely managing to land on the planet Eridani after their spaceship was sabotaged. Their human "cousins" had begun to fear and resent the physically superior wolfan subspecies they had genetically engineered, and had plotted to wipe them out.

Now Karrick is leader of the Wolfan Psi Pack; his pack is unique among the wolfan in that they can communicate through dreams. Some of them, including Karrick, can merge so seamlessly into another person's dreams that they can glean information and manipulate thoughts.

After thirty years of isolation, a small spaceship has brought a human female to Eridani. It's up to Karrick to determine if she presents a danger to his pack. He intends to merge his mind with their lovely visitor to determine her purpose in visiting his home. In their shared dreams, he finds himself irresistibly drawn to her, realizing that he's found his mate.

When the two meet for the first time, dreams and reality merge with explosive results.

I enjoyed this book.  Very Steamy.  Reminded me somewhat of Lora Leigh's Breed series but more futuristic.  Cynthia created a wonderful world and I look forward to reading more of this series.

Running with the Pack by Beverly Rae

When hunter becomes hostage, the only question is: Death by bite, or by bullet?

At night, Lauren Kade trades her white coat and dental drill for a black uniform and a gun. But not to hunt the shifters she once swore to eliminate. Driven by lingering guilt for killing a female shifter a year ago, she covertly throws other hunters off the trail. She’s good at it, too…until she’s taken hostage by a sexy werewolf whose thirst for revenge is even bigger and badder than his attitude.

Daniel Cannon tried everything to outrun the pain of his mate’s murder, but when hunters take down another pack member, it’s more than he can stand. Now that he’s got one of them at his mercy, though, something strange is happening. Her side job may set his teeth on edge, but her luscious curves make him salivate. In spite of her past sins, she insists she’s reformed into some kind of werewolf guardian angel.

Worse, his heart wants to believe her, and his body aches to mark her as his. Yet going against his instincts could turn him from lover to prisoner. Just when his pack needs him most…

Beverly Rae never disappoints!  This is book 3 in the Cannon Pack series.  I recommend this series and all of her books.

Blue Moon Rising by Tara Nina

Missing children, werewolves and a mysterious castle in the swamps of South Carolina test Rae Richardson’s version of reality. Strange things happen around her convincing her that maybe werewolves do exist. The sight of a large black wolf in the swamp only fuels her overactive imagination. Crossing paths with a handsome man ignites a fire in her soul she refuses to acknowledge. Something about this stranger raises her suspicions. Did he have a hand in the children’s disappearance? Or was it the over-powering need in her gut to be near him the reason for her mistrust?

Nick Anthropos is on a quest, one that does not include saving children or meeting the woman of his dreams, his Lykoian soul mate. Her scent teases his senses and keeps him on edge. It’s obvious to him she doesn’t know her true self. But can he teach her to be the wolf he knows lies within her soul and save her from the very creature he set out to destroy? If he fails she would be lost forever.

Lykoian’s get one chance in life to bond with their soul mate forever. Failure is not an option.

I really enjoyed this book.  Action and suspense with the great paranormal twist!  I recommend this book.

Deadly Heat by Cynthia Eden

She wants revenge . . .

Six months after her lover died in an arsonist’s blaze, firefighter Lora Spade calls in the FBI’s elite Serial Services Division to track the elusive killer. When Special Agent Kenton Lake is lured into a violent inferno, Lora pulls him to safety and is stunned – not by the fire, but by her own searing attraction to Kent. For the first time in months, she longs for something other than vengeance.

He wants her . . .

Kenton’s interest in Lora should be purely professional. But one fleeting kiss and he can’t get her out of his mind. Her combination of strength and vulnerability makes him want to protect her, and that means solving this case – and fast. For even the passion igniting between them can’t hide a terrifying truth: Lora is the next target in a murderer’s sadistic, fiery game.

A vicious killer wants only . . .

Fated by Lauren Dane

Just because Fate brings you your perfect mate doesn’t mean it’ll be easy.

Cascadia Wolves series book 6

Could there be any worse fate than a road trip from Seattle to L.A.—with one’s mother—to attend a wedding? Why yes, when one isn’t married yet, like Megan Warden. Toss in a grandmother and a carload of already married sisters and it’s a recipe for sneaking sips of “special” coffee while someone else drives.

Shane Rosario has better things to do than attend a wedding where his father’s relatives will be at him nonstop about getting married and having children. If it weren’t for seeing his anchor bond, Layla, he’d have taken a pass on the entire weekend. It would be easy, since he’s become adept at hiding who and what he is.

When the two weren’t even looking, Fate steps in and before they know it, their bond is sealed. Bonded pair, married in the eyes of their people. Two people tied together in every way. Trouble is, Shane’s not sure he wants all that comes with Megan. And Megan’s certain she’s not willing to live outside her pack, pretending to be human.

The distance between them is more than geographical. It’s a widening gulf rapidly filling with resentment…an emotional divide only acceptance could bridge. Can Shane can accept himself to cross it? Only if they let love take control.

I loved this story!  Cascadia Wolves is one of my favorite series. I recommend this book & series!  A hot read!

Feral Heat by Sherri L. King - Moon Lust 4

Adrian Darkwood, exotic and powerful alpha werewolf, has finally come to the end of his lifelong quest. He has found the true lineage of all werewolves. But all is not well in the small town of Applecress, Scotland. A centuries-old pact has been broken between human and werewolf, and retribution has been paid in blood.

Mona Kincaid has dwelled in the shadow of her family's legacy all her life. Now, tragic events have brought her forth to protect a town of strangers thousands of miles away. She doesn't have time for an affair with the darkly sensual man who is following her every move. She doesn't have the time for his wicked kisses and hot embraces, even as she wonders at the sharpness of his fangs and the growl in his voice.

Adrian and Mona have found far more than they bargained for. Mona must come to terms with her family's heritage and the town that depends solely upon her and Adrian must save his mate from the oldest werewolf pack gone feral…before it's too late.

I totally enjoyed this book.  Had a lot of action (sexual & not).  The whole series is awesome and I recommend the series!
I have some of her Sterling Files series in my TBR pile that I will have to put higher on my pile!

Mating Season by Sherri L. King - Moon Lust 3

Ash Darkwood has come to the Ural Mountains of Russia where an unexpected surprise awaits—his mate, a fierce and proud woman who would deny him to her last breath. When the two meet during the full moon hunt, their bond ignites into a fury of passion and lust that neither can resist. The moon is full. The time is ripe. It's...

It's been a while since I read the first two books but everything came back after the first chapter.  I now have my wonderful Kindle and am finally getting all the ebooks that were missing from my series I started.  What a terrific son I have!!
This was a great read and was so happy that Ash found his HEA.  I so look forward to the next book, Feral Heat to see what awaits Adrian in Scotland.

Primal by Michelle Rowen, Ava Gray, Jory Strong & Lora Leigh

"Bleeding Heart" by Michelle Rowan

"Skin and Bone" by Ava Gray

"Angel-Claimed" by Jory Strong

"Primal Kiss" by Lora Leigh

All four of the stories here use characters/worlds that have been previously established by their authors, so I wasn't enjoying the first three stories as much as I normally would.  I really tried to like them, and would like to read more of Ava Gray's series - I liked the concept!
I've read other books from Jory Strong but this one was a little darker.
I was hoping for a little more humor from Michelle Rowen.
Now Primal Kiss by Lora Leigh was the reason I bought the book and I always enjoy reading her stories! This story was no exception!  Another excellent HEA for another breed. WTG Creed!

Roping Savannah by Jory Strong

For the good of both Belizair and his clan-house, Draigon d’Amato will do what is required of him. He will choose a Vesti co-mate and accept the human woman the Council scientists have determined is his match. But while he might be reconciled to his fate, as soon as he sees Savannah Holden, duty becomes desire and he can’t claim her fast enough.

Unfortunately for him, Savannah is a policewoman intent on making a difference on Earth. And if that isn’t challenge enough, she’s already taken a Vesti for a lover. Not just any Vesti, but Kye d’Vesti, whose clan has a reputation for bending if not breaking the laws Draigon feels compelled to uphold.

For Kye, sharing a bond-mate goes against every instinct of his Vesti heritage. But with criminals determined to prevent Savannah from getting too close, keeping their feisty and independent mate safe and out of trouble is a job for two men.

Draigon and Kye discover sharing the bodyguarding duties has certain…benefits, and their “duty to pleasure” is one they embrace with great enthusiasm. Until one of them takes their “duty to protect” her literally, with a devastating result.

This is book #3 but story #5 in the Fallon Mates series.  You want a steamy threesome - this series is for you.  I love the world Jory created in this series.
