I think this was my favorite in the series so far.  I loved Kitania's story and how she overcame all she went through.
I was so happy that Melissa & Micah's story was included in this book.  The ending was fantastic!
I recommend this series!

I think this was my favorite story in this anthology.  This is only the second book I read with a werebear, and who doesn't think bears are cute?  Cute but dangerous! 



Lion Eyes By Jodi Lynn Copeland

Liddy's out to vindicate the lions in her sanctuary from an accusation of murder and absolve her own burning hunger for the one man she knows better than to want.

Kevin has wanted Liddy since first meeting her. Two obstacles stand in the way of that desire: skin color and the fact that Kevin is leader of the area shapeshifter pride.

Too many humans fear shapeshifters, and Kevin believes Liddy may be among them, especially when the truth is revealed—it isn't a normal lion responsible for the killing, but one of Kevin's own kind.

I was a little confused by as animals they couldn't smell other of their kind!  They didn't even know each other of their pride, and used different names when in animal form.  I liked the fact that the mother of Liddy had a total change of heart at the end of the story.

Tiger Eye By Kit Tunstall

The attack of a tiger nearly killed vet Grant Hayden as a child, and only the strength of the big cat saved him. But the ritual performed by an African medicine man also left him with the side effect of taking on a tiger's form. Guarding his secret has necessitated he not get too close to any woman. That proves difficult when Dr. Zinsa Senghor takes up temporary residence in his clinic to escape the nearby fighting of the civil war ravaging Mekimba. Zinsa is more temptation than he can withstand, but Grant fears her reaction when she discovers the nature of the beast locked inside him.

I really wanted to know more about Zinsa's abilities.  She must have had some based on what her father had told her about finding her other half.  I did enjoy the story.

I really enjoyed how this story played out.  Both Ariane and Michael have to work through all the drama that's placed in their path.  They hit a few bumps but they overcome!  I can't wait to read the next book in this series Changing Their Wolfen Heritage and I hope Missy continues this series with Micah's book!

I enjoyed this story alot.  I wished Maddie was a stronger character but understood why she was the way she was.  Remus kept forgetting to let Maddie in on the goings on with the pack but she reacted rather well.
Remus was her true hero!

I enjoyed this story.  I love Sally Painter's Gargoyle stories.

This was my favorite story in this anthology!  I really enjoyed the different fantasies they lived through.  This story was HOT!

And Halloween is just two days away.


I enjoyed the story line of this book.  It had some great characters and a new concept to the end of times!

Day of the Dragon by Rebecca York

Day of the Dragon is the latest installment in Rebecca York's shifter series. This book deals with a wounded and powerful dragon shifter who finds unexpected love.


Ramsey Gallagher is ~ 2 thousand years old. He is a mighty dragon shifter who has no idea of his heritage. He was found lost in ancient Italy by an elderly couple and adopted. But his life has never been easy. It is now the 21st century and Ramsey is trying to recover from a vicious battle with another dragon shifter from another dimension who tried to take over Earth. After the battle, Ramsey lost his ability to shift and many of his other magical abilities. He deeply mourns the loss and particularly wants to be able to shift again. When he hears of an archaeological find near the spot where he was found lost as a child he is galvanized to talk to the lead archaeologist. Ramsey wants to discover if there is a connection to his missing past and the possibility of a clue to return his powers.

What he finds is a surprisingly attractive female doctor named Madison Dartmoor. But before he can track her down at a conference he discovers her lecture is cut short and she is being abducted. Ramsey saves her and they find a real connection. But someone wants the good doctor and they are willing to kill to get her!


I really enjoyed this book and had a suprising ending.  I hope she continues this series and has more of the Marshall family and I also hope more dragons are discovered.

I really like where Delilah went with this series.  Gabriella is a very sexual wolf but not with other wolves!  She loves being dominated, but doesn't want to be owned!  Now that she is in the Land of the Dead will Guntram be able to pull her from the dark lords allure?  Guntram along with Simon follow Gabriella to the Land of the Dead and must plan for an escape.  Simon has already lived this and hopes to change the outcome.  I was at the edge of my seat cheering for the good guys.  It had a wonderful ending and I highly recommend this book and series. 

Frostfire by Lynn Viehl - Kyndred #3

As one of the genetically enhanced Kyndred, Lilah's mind-reading powers make her vulnerable to a mysterious biotech company willing to murder to acquire her superhuman DNA. But her true fear may come from her own Kyndred brethren...




Frostfire is Lilah & Walker's story.  They are both kidnapped and must find a way to escape. They end up in a town in Colorado called Frenchman's Pass.  They both have secrets and so does Frenchman's Pass.
They must stay hidden from GenHance who wants to dissect them.
I had a little trouble following the story but it became more clear the more I read.  The book had a very good ending and I look forward to reading the next book in this series Nightshine.

Wolf Tales 11 by Kate Douglas

The Chanku have been threatened in the past, but never like this--Lisa and Tala, both in the final stages of pregnancy, become pawns in a terrible plot to assassinate the president of the United States.  Anton has a plan, but it requires a sacrifice even the wizard hadn't intended to make.

SPOILER ALERT

This time around we find the Chanku are threatened again but by a new but known maniac and Anton has a plan!  As always his plan works but a bit too well.  Now he feels lost and alone, but his pack mates makes him realize he is still loved even with his current predicament. AJ does not like having Anton's abilities and doesn't know how Anton manages these abilities.  Lily to the rescue!  I can't wait for the next book in this series and it sounds like Lily will again play an important part.  I'm hoping this is the start of things to come and the children of the Chanku get their own series to continue this great World of the Chanku!

I really love the stories by Christine Feehan.  She does not disappoint!  I always look forward to one of her books!  The Ghostwalker series has another excellent story!  I recommend this and all of Christine's books!

Wow - I really couldn't wait to find out more about Smoke and where he comes from since reading the last book in this series!  Angela has added a couple of great characters to this series!  In the back of this book she gives a little taste of the next book, Master of Shadows which you see coming reading this book.  I'm so glad she doesn't leave us hanging with another book before giving us their story!

I waited to start this series because I just loved her Ganymede and Sparkle characters so much I was afraid I would be disappointed.  Well as you can see I read this book just as soon as I could.  Now I can't wait to find out who gets their story next!  I want to find out more about Fin and who or what he really is.  I have some ideas but I don't want to give away any spoilers!!  The more you read in this series the more you get to find out who & where the Eleven come from.  I really also want to find out what is so bad that happened all that time ago!

Another winner!  I really enjoyed Fallon & Isbella's story.  They complement each other perfectly.  I have been waiting for Fallon to find his match since I started reading the Arcane series.  I'm also looking forward to this trilogy because I enjoyed the last one so much.  I love how she is connecting these with the Harmony series which was the first books I read of hers!
